Two separate workshops — filmed on the shop floor

Duong Long runs two independent production workshops in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City, each handling its own product line, with no shared floor space or line between them. Every photo and video below was shot on the shop floor while the machines were running: coils of raw copper wire sitting next to the drawing machine, the tooth-attaching line running non-stop, workers standing at the centrifugal polisher; over at the die-casting workshop, zinc alloy ingots waiting to be melted, and the die-casting machine ejecting a part still warm as it drops into the tray. Nothing was staged with lighting, nothing borrowed from a stock library, and nothing rearranged to look tidier than it actually is — whichever machine happened to be running is the one the camera pointed at, whatever angle was available is the one that got kept, wiring and all, plastic stool and all. Some shots end up looking less polished than a typical ad photo because of this, but in exchange, what you see is exactly what was happening on the floor of both workshops at the moment the shutter went off, nothing added and nothing cleaned up.

Workshop 1

Brass zipper workshop

Wire drawing from raw copper, tooth attachment, polishing, surface finishing — sizes #3, #5, #8. The video below was filmed at the workshop, showing finished zipper chain coming off the machine.

Workshop 2

Zinc alloy die-casting workshop

Custom zinc alloy die casting from drawings or samples: zipper pulls, door and cabinet handles, and other hardware parts — a separate workshop from the brass zipper line above.
